Do I need to sign up to redeem a deal?
No. Open the Deals tab, pick an offer, show the code or your screen at the till. You don't need an account just to redeem. Optional sign-in only syncs your saved deals across devices.
Are the deals student-only?
Yes. Every offer is set up by the partner specifically for Royal Holloway students. Some partners ask to see your student card at the till to verify; most just trust the in-app code.
Where are the partner businesses?
Most are on Egham high street or in Englefield Green village (within walking distance of campus). A few are in Staines retail park, served by the 441 White Bus. The Deals tab shows the distance and a map pin for each.
How often do new deals appear?
Partners update their offers from a dashboard whenever they want. New deals and seasonal promotions show up in the Deals tab the next time you open the app, with no refresh action needed from you.

How are the deals different from a UNiDAYS code?
UNiDAYS deals are national chains and online retailers. RHUL Mobile deals are local Egham and Surrey businesses that students can walk into. The two complement each other rather than overlap.
How do I know a deal is still valid?
The Deals tab only shows currently active offers. Expired or paused deals are hidden automatically. If a code doesn't work at the till, email rhulmobile@shack.solutions and the partner gets flagged.
How do I become a partner?
Visit the advertise page to see tiers and pricing, or email partners@rhulmobile.com directly. Listings start from a few pounds a month.
Is it free for students?
Yes. The Deals tab is free to browse and free to redeem. Server costs and partner support are funded by the businesses listing deals, not by students.
